Ever since Duel Links added all 8 of the Yu-boys and Bracelet Girls in-game by the end of 2024, I’ve always wanted to see some more interactions between them… FINALLY we got new crumbs from the Arc-V wave of Wave Duel Scramble (Summer 2025).

As usual, the writing did not disappoint (the Duel Links writers REALLY love Arc-V, it shows)!! Serena’s growth in particular really stood out to me… considering what happened to her in the anime, it was so, so gratifying to see her finally get some ‘canon’ closure to her character.
The Arc-V anime may be one of the most infamous child shows out there (I actually watched this show due to how bad its reputation was), but I really enjoyed and loved it in spite of its flaws… and these fictional characters will always have a place in my heart.
On a side note, the Yu-boy interactions are also (always) hilarious. Full stop. Cobbled this drawing to commemorate their post-canon clownery!
I love seeing them bicker like the 14 year olds boys that they actually are. The anime really leaned into the Hitosu Ni drama and forced the Yu-boys to spend a LOT of their interaction time dueling each other (with the exception of Yuya and Yuto bonding post-merge), so it’s nice to see them actually chat…

There’s a LOT to unpack in the Duel Links conversation crumbs over all these years, but really… thank you Duel Links, once again, for actually making a everyone gets to ‘live their life’ happy ending for Arc-V.
