- Yuya changes his Fusion Summon pose to match Yuri’s after they merge- I find this to be a super neat animation detail!!

- The lettering for the second panel took ages… ‘unconsciously’ is such a long word to fit into the speech bubble, and I didn’t want to break it down with hyphens… so I had to rewrite and move the text around

- Lettering is actually such an important part of comics, but it’s often overlooked from the perspective of an audience (unless it’s done really badly). Highest respect to all letterers who silently suffer over kerning and line spaces…
- It would be cool if the anime showed how (why?) Yuya came to accept his character synthesis with Yuri, so as to adopt Yuri’s fusion summoning pose and command Starve Venom… alas…
